Candidate terms of use

These terms apply if you upload a CV or create a job-seeker account on Glos People. Glos People is operated by Enjoy Recruitment Group Ltd (company number 4572253), registered at Richmond House, 61 Hatherley Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL51 6EG.

1. What we do with your CV

When you upload your CV we extract skills, experience, job titles, location, salary expectation and other profile information to match you with local employers. We use AI to help interpret the text, but every match is reviewed by the platform before an employer sees it.

Your CV is never shown to employers as a document. We redact your name, address, phone number, email and other contact details before any employer sees the extracted content. Your real identity is only shared once you have explicitly approved an approach.

2. Stealth mode

You can choose to appear in "stealth mode". In stealth mode your real name, current employer and contact details are hidden until you approve an approach. Employers see an alias, a function clue and a suitability score instead.

Even in open mode, your contact details are not released until you approve an approach.

3. Your data and rights

You keep ownership of your CV, but you grant us a licence to process it for the purpose of finding and presenting suitable matches to employers. You can delete your account and CV at any time from your account settings. Deletion removes your storage file, extracted text, profile and derived data.

You have the right to access, correct, restrict or object to processing of your personal data. Contact dave@enjoyrecruitmentgroup.co.uk for any data request.

4. Approaches and consent

An employer can request to approach you. You are free to accept or decline. If you decline, your identity is not shared and the employer receives a partial credit refund. If you do not respond within 7 days, the employer receives a full refund and the approach closes.

5. Accuracy

You must provide accurate information. Misleading employers about your experience, availability or right to work in the UK may result in account closure.

6. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, harass employers or other users, upload offensive content, or misuse the platform.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or when you next sign in. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
